The company is a joint group of experts in the Human Resources area.
Our client is a successful company operating in distribution industry.
We are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Purchasing Specialist.
General Summary: Responsible for the purchasing activities. Assists in researches and evaluations of suppliers based on price, quality and warranty.
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
- Designs and implements purchasing policies and procedures
- Responsible for new purchases and the related specifications and necessary documents
- Build and develop relationships with key suppliers
- Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
- Ensures the purchases are within the estimated budget
- Compares costs and evaluates the quality and suitability of supplies, materials and equipment
Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree in Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Very good knowledge of English language and Microsoft Office package
- Ability to coordinate and plan ahead and prioritize
- Influencing, persuading, coaching and negotiating skills
- Ability to work in team and communicate perfectly with colleagues
