We are looking for a potential candidate for the position of Purchasing Coordinator/F
JOB DESCRIPTION: Purchasing Coordinator/F
General Summary: Manage the purchasing activities, assist in development and implementation of purchasing procedures.
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
-Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers
-Implement procurement strategy and policies
-Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers
-Lead the procurement group in all phases
-Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in
accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
-Help to lower the cost and secure agreements
-Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products
QUALIFICATIONS:
A university degree in Business is preferred; a minimum of 1 year of related experience. Influencing, persuading, coaching and negotiating skills. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
